The cruise
continues...
We crossed over the river near the Kennedy
Space Center and then headed south along another beautiful
riverside road leading us to our lunch stop.
Following lunch we stopped by the Brit Bash
car show at a really nice park. There was a nice assortment
of British cars with 4 classic Minis.
|
|
Then we headed over to the parks amphitheater to take our group
shot.
|
We continued back to the river. Seeing nothing
but classic Minis 3 wide going down the road was
spectacular! We did some more river driving that led us to
the pier where the group people shot (bottom of page) was
taken.
|
After a few more cul-de-sacs we ended up at
the Beach Street Eatery for yet another car show and dinner.
Who would have thought that you could park 30 Minis in 6
parking spaces!?! There were a lot of classic cars, mainly
American iron, but seeing all of these Minis really made the
show special.

The restaurant did a great job decorating with balloons and our
Mini 50
birthday hats, thanks! Everybody received a free slice of Mini 50
birthday pie.
Yes, that's Marcos in the pink CMU shirt. After dinner we headed
back to the
hotel for the Mini 50 movie outside in the 25mph winds... Popcorn
can
fly at 25mph! It was a long day but there's still one to go.
More driving on day 3? Day
3
CMU events are different, we drive a lot!
