A few days before the event, I heard that Downtown MINI and Ron Jon's Surf Shop was putting on a MINI/Mini car show with the Best of Show prize being a new surfboard! So I waxed up the Woody and went to pick up my new board! It was mainly a MINI (about 20-25?) show; the only other Classic Mini was Jason's custom car... But this was a beach type show, so I kept razzing Jason that the old Woody would win...and it did!
I hear this event will happen again next year; we'll email all of the Florida members way in advance!
