Take a rally break.... and dance!

The Mini
Charleston
So you think you've seen
it all? So did we
until we decided to add some dancing to The British Invasion
Weekend. Professional dance instructors, Joe and Shari from the
14th Avenue Dance Studio in Vero Beach decided to come out and
have some fun with the Mini crowd!
While most Mini events include
the Mini, we wanted to make the people the main attraction for
once. So, Joe and Shari taught a short Charleston dance class. The
task was for every member of each team to successfully pass the
dance class. If anybody failed the class or refused to take the
class, they could pick an envelope that had random penalty points
ranging from 1 to 25. With a small boom box, the parking lot was
rockin'! This was by far one of the most entertaining things to
watch all weekend and we're happy to announce that EVERYBODY
participated and passed the class!
Later that night, the
"students" had the opportunity to show their stuff at
our British Invasion dance at the 14th Avenue Dance studio. It's
amazing what you can forget in just a few short hours.....
The instructors picked their
favorite student. Their pick was Gerry (pictured
below in the "Hawaiian" print blue shirt).
As you can see, they weren't graded for
style....
Some of the Miami group couldn't contain
themselves,
so here they are the next morning....
And then again on their way back home, stuck
in traffic,
dancing again!
